It’s been a full week since the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Denver Broncos 22-14 in Week 1 of the preseason, and with the team’s second preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings set for Sunday, roster cuts are rapidly approaching. The team must get down to 53 players by 4 pm on Saturday, August 31, meaning there are just sixteen days left between now and those cuts.
Taking into consideration the fact that in those sixteen days the Hawks will play three games and have a handful of days off, and all of a sudden the number of practices in which players can make a case to the coaching staff for their spot on the roster are quickly dwindling.
