At the beginning of the 2022 NFL season, most Seattle Seahawks fans would tell you they had a firm grasp on a 3 to 5 win expectation for our squad. One playoff appearance later, the expectations for 2023 increased to maybe 10 to 12 wins and a strong shot at the NFC title. In both cases, the crowd-sourced predictions proved off. One very real reality of NFL schedules is that they are quite unbalanced team-to-team, division-to-division. Each season presents unique challenges and odd match-ups that often prove to be the undoing of many good teams, and prove to hand clear advantages to others who are less deserving.
