Police in Bellevue, Washington, have recommended that Seattle Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman be charged with felony counts of vehicular assault and hit-and-run stemming from an accident in October.
According to the police report, which was released Monday, Coleman's truck was traveling 60 mph in a 35 mph zone when it struck another vehicle on Oct. 14. Coleman's foot remained on the accelerator at 100 percent for several seconds, the report says, causing the other vehicle to be pushed approximately 260 feet off the roadway and up a hill where it flipped over. The driver of the other vehicle suffered a head injury and a fractured left clavicle.
