Lofa Tatupu, former Seattle Seahawks linebacker (2005-2010) and assistant linebackers coach (2015-2016), joins the latest episode of the Field Gulls podcast to take a look back on the 2020 season and talk about ways the offense can improve next year under new offensive coordinator Shane Waldron.
With Chris Carson, Shaquill Griffin and K.J. Wright all set to be free agents this offseason, Tatupu makes the case for why K.J. Wright deserves to return to the team. He says he may be the most likely to return by possibility taking an incentive-laden contract. Considering Thomas Davis just retired after coming into the NFL in 2005 along with Tatupu, fans may be underestimating how many more seasons Wright could offer the Seahawks.
