The Seahawks are working on an extension with head coach Pete Carroll, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Carroll is entering the final year of his current deal, but as we wrote earlier this month, an extension in the months ahead makes sense. Carroll is the oldest coach in the league. He has a partnership with general manager John Schneider that has been successful. And the core of the Seahawks' roster is young, leaving their window for another Super Bowl title wide open.
