Pete Carroll expects Mike Iupati, Brandon Shell back, uncertain on Jamal Adams and Jarran Reed

The Seattle Seahawks are not nearly as banged up entering the playoffs compared to last season, but they aren’t out of the woods as far as key players.

Both Jarran Reed and Jamal Adams were unable to finish Sunday’s win over the San Francisco 49ers. Reed had been dealing with a chest injury for multiple weeks, whereas Adams hurt his left shoulder on a chip block by Jerick McKinnon. This is not the same shoulder he injured earlier in the year, and Adams was visibly frustrated on the sidelines.

For good news, left guard Mike Iupati and right tackle Brandon Shell are both expected to return for Saturday’s Wild Card matchup versus the Los Angeles Rams.
