Last week at the NFL owners meetings, coach Pete Carroll was asked what he would have done with his career had he not been a football coach:
"If I wasn’t a football coach? Well, back in the day, I was told I should be a recreation director when I took my tests," he said. "So I would be working in some city, throwing out balls and playing hoops and stuff like that. That’d probably fit me pretty good. But I would rather be digging and looking for historical stuff.
