Observations from Seahawks practice: Tharold Simon, Brandon Browner Brandon Williams and more

Here are our daily observations from Seahawks training camp following Thursday’s workout, the fifth of the fall for the team.

First, from Seahawks beat reporter Jayson Jenks:

1, Defensive tackle Jarran Reed has been impressive. The Seahawks were clear in what they liked about Reed when they drafted him in the second round this year: He was a leader, had a fiery personality and was a run-stuffing defensive tackle. It’s early, but so far Reed has looked and acted out all those roles. He has looked strong and powerful at the line of scrimmage, routinely driving his blocker into the backfield.
