It has been 130 days since we have seen the Seattle Seahawks play a meaningful game. And, yes, the 2023 season finale in Glendale, Arizona was meaningful, even if the Seahawks were 8-8 heading into that game and needed both a win and some “help” to make the playoffs.
Geno Smith & Co. took care of their end of things (barely), but landed on the wrong end of the conference’s fifth tiebreaker (Strength of Victory) and ended up cleaning out their lockers when they got back to Seattle.
Three days later, the Seahawks parted ways with the most successful head coach in franchise history.
