Congratulations are in order for Seattle Seahawks linebacker Shaquem Griffin, who won Gillette’s NFL Game Changer Award at Saturday’s NFL Honors 2019 festivities.
The official description of the award is:
The Game Changer presented by Gillette was created to celebrate those who are committed to moving the game forward. This award recognizes a member of the football family who has positively contributed to the sport and his or her community.
Shaquem’s story is well known at this point. He suffered from amniotic band syndrome, which led to his left hand being amputated at just four years old.
