So, the Seahawks did not disappoint. They did what they always do: trade down. By trading up the 49ers chose Reuben Foster with the 31st pick. This was a good move for both teams. Seattle now has ten picks in this draft after beginning with only seven. The 49ers made another good defensive pick by adding Foster. Foster goes along with Solomon Thomas who the 49ers chose earlier in the first round.
At this point it is fair to say that the 49ers have the potential to improve much faster than the Los Angeles Rams. They also are beginning to look a bit sturdier than the Arizona Cardinals long-term.
