With apologies to the NBA, the NFL on Christmas Day is here to stay.
Netflix has agreed to a deal that will see them broadcast at least one Christmas Day game over the next three seasons. Local teams will have their games simulcast on their over-the-air television affiliates, but everyone else who lives out of market will have to subscribe for at least $6.99 per month, or go to a friend or relative’s house and hope they have Netflix.
The Seattle Seahawks will evidently not be one of the four teams playing on Christmas, which falls on a Wednesday this year.
