NFC Standings: Seahawks improve to 7-2 as Vikings, Packers fall

The Seattle Seahawks improved to 7-2 on Sunday, one of the best starts in franchise history. One team standing ahead of them and a first round bye though is the 8-0 San Francisco 49ers, Seattle’s opponent next Monday in San Francisco. If the Seahawks lose that game, it’ll be near impossible for them to win the NFC West. Win, loss, or tie though, Seattle is well in contention for a wild card spot with seven games left on the schedule.

Especially given a couple of other key results in Week 9.

The Minnesota Vikings led 23-20 in the fourth quarter against the Kansas City Chiefs but ended up losing 26-23.
