So the concept is simple; before real Seahawks GM John Schneider makes an actual draft choice, write down who you would take. It’s a chance to get a feel for what it’s like to be a GM, and an opportunity to do something that you can look back on years later and compare, contrast, evaluate….
I thought it would be fun. It was.
I thought it would be easy. It most certainly was not.
First, let’s get right to it. These are my choices compared to who Seattle actually took:
FIRST ROUND, 31ST PICK OVERALL:
Seahawks took – Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M
I took – Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson
I liked Dodd as a productive pass rusher with length, and I knew he was a VMAC visitor.
