Multiple Seahawks to be out until training camp following offseason surgeries

During his meeting with the media following the second day of offseason OTAs, Seattle Seahawks head coach surprised observers when he revealed that the team’s starting running back, Chris Carson, had offseason surgery. While Carson is expected to return to offseason activities in a couple of weeks, the timetable for a handful of other members of the team to resume their activities following offseason procedures is a bit longer.

Pete Carroll said Jaran Reed and Bradley McDougald, who had offseason surgeries, won't be back during OTAs and minicamp, but should be good for training camp.
