Mike Macdonald provides injury updates on Rayshawn Jenkins, Jerome Baker, other Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are nearing the end of preseason, having finished practice on Thursday ahead of Saturday’s finale against the Cleveland Browns. A few notable players have been absent from recent practices, including a recent leg/foot injury for starting safety Rayshawn Jenkins.

Head coach Mike Macdonald addressed the availability and progress of five players. Thankfully, nothing suggests anything long-term.

Baker has been out with a hamstring injury suffered shortly after he was activated off the PUP list.

“He’s trending in the right direction,” Macdonald said. ”We did an ACT (Acclimation Communication Technique) today so he was able to get a couple more reps than he would if we were going full speed.
