That also means that for football-starved fans desperate for news and information about their favorite team and players, the media availability of coaches is a welcome source of information.
Unfortunately for Seattle Seahawks fans, new head coach Mike Macdonald was not as upbeat regarding the health of right tackle Abe Lucas as he could have been. According to Macdonald, Lucas is attacking rehab following offseason surgery, but is not yet on the field participating in practice, though the goal remains for Lucas to be ready for training camp.
