The announced paid attendance at Levi's Stadium Sunday was 70,134, a surprisingly high number considering how often the Santa Clara, California venue is ridiculed for its lack of patrons.
Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett is the latest to offer his commentary on the constantly vacant stadium, telling Janie McCauley of the Associated Press after Seattle's 24-13 victory over the now 1-10 49ers: "There might not be any fans in the stadium, which there wasn't a lot of fans in the stadium. I looked online you could've gotten a ticket for $17."
Indeed, ticket prices for 49ers home games are routinely inexpensive.
