“The opportunity to give back; the opportunity to create change.” This is what Bennett’s answer was to Clayton’s question about the theme of Bennett’s offseason. Bennett also stated this was the theme to his life. To me, Bennett separates himself from other sports figures and entertainment persons by how he says what he says and how he lives what he speaks. Bennett thinks philosophically but acts realistically. There is no surface with Bennett, only feeling. We could all use more of this in the world today.
Marshawn Lynch, Cliff Avril and Bennett all visited Haiti this offseason to help build schools and homes for children and families in a challenged nation.
