As training camp nears one questions lurks in the background for the Seattle Seahawks: Will Michael Bennett show up? He wants an improved deal, and he is threatening to hold out if he isn’t given one.
The Seahawks aren’t flinching though, at least not yet. They’ll wait to see if they can call Bennett’s bluff, or if he is serious. They also don’t want to set a precedent that they’re willing to rework deals after only one year.
At this stage of the game, Michael Bennett has a point. He is absolutely underpaid.
