Things seemed pretty good for the Legion of Boom a few months ago, but wow how times have changed. With injuries to Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman, and DeShawn Shead, the Seattle Seahawks have serious needs in the secondary. The disappointing start for Jeremy Lane in the first season of a four-year contract doesn’t help matters. While rookie DeAndre Elliott is promising, that certainly won’t be enough for the Seahawks to feel comfortable about the cornerback position going into 2017 (and the Perrish Cox signing can only be described as a poor decision) so many are thinking this is finally the year that John Schneider and Pete Carroll draft a cornerback on day one or day two.
