While Seahawks general manager John Schneider on Friday told local radio stations Marshawn Lynch is ‘leaning towards retirement,‘ Lynch’s mother, Delisa, has other thoughts on her son’s football career.
Delisa — known around Seattle as ‘Momma Lynch’ — told TMZ Sports she doesn’t believe Marshawn is done with football.
“I really believe we haven’t seen the last of Beast Mode,” she said. “My younger son [Davonte] will be coming out next year. I told [Marshawn] to wait for his brother.”
Davonte, also a running back, just wrapped up his junior year at New Mexico Highlands University, leading his team in rushing with 735 yards in 10 games.
