In back-to-back weeks, there have been loud chants of “Let’s go, Giants!” and “Let’s go, Niners!” in the Lumen Field stands as the Seattle Seahawks withered away to consecutive home losses.
The Seahawks once had one of the best home field advantages in the NFL. Whether it was Seahawks Stadium, Qwest Field, CenturyLink Field, or (now) Lumen Field, the name could change but the results would still overwhelmingly be a Seahawks victory. That’s not happening anymore.
We’re going to eliminate the 2020 season because there were no fans for the entire season due to COVID-19 and thus the only “advantage” Seattle had was stadium familiarity and no travel.
