Bad news has emerged from day five of Seattle Seahawks training camp.
First-round draft pick L.J. Collier was in the middle of two-minute drill work on Tuesday when he suffered an apparent right leg injury. Initial reports say he was able to walk off under his own power before eventually leaving practice on a cart.
“Defensive end L.J. Collier, the Seahawks’ first-round pick, just left the practice field on a cart with an apparent leg injury,” ESPN’s Brady Henderson wrote. He was engaged with Duane Brown on a passing play when he went down in obvious pain.
