On a beautiful Saturday afternoon at Lumen Field, the Seattle Seahawks held their first Lumen Field practice under Mike Macdonald as part of the annual Seahawks Football Fest. As promised, it was a very relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with music and entertainment, of which I saw very little of it because I entered through Gate 5 instead of the Muckleshoot Heritage Plaza. Cliff Avril was among the former Seahawks there to sign autographs inside the stadium, and the Blue Angels Air Show was seen and heard loud and clear throughout the day.
This was a bit of a special trip for myself, as I’ve not been back to Seattle since I moved to the East Coast in 2012.
