The Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins have a deep history against each other dating back to when Seattle was in the AFC. Seattle’s first road playoff win (and only one as an AFC team) came against rookie Dan Marino and the Miami Dolphins in a huge upset. Marino exacted revenge on the Seahawks the following year on his way to his only Super Bowl appearance, and his final win of his illustrious career was unfortunately the last Seahawks game at the Kingdome.
Since the Seahawks moved back to the NFC West in 2002, there have been five meetings between them and the Dolphins, and all have been close.
