Late heroics from hobbled Russell Wilson give Seahawks victory

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson suffered an apparent leg injury in the second half of Seattle's season-opening matchup with the Miami Dolphins, but stayed in the game.

Wilson, 27, was sacked on a first-down play by Miami defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh during the Seahawks first drive of the second half, with Suh stepping on Wilson's right ankle as the Seattle quarterback twisted to the ground.

USA Today's Tom Pelissero tweeted out a video of the injury.

After a handoff to Thomas Rawls and an incomplete pass to Tyler Lockett, Wilson limped off the field, pausing a couple of times to hop on his left foot instead of putting pressure on his right leg.
