Some observers might believe that the rest of the NFL’s owners and executives are watching Kam Chancellor’s holdout from the Seahawks with a heightened interest, perhaps with the thought that they could swoop in and acquire a game-changing player for their squads if Seattle decides to trade him.
But a Thursday story from CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora argued that league decision makers are interested for a different reason: They don’t want the Seahawks to set a precedent that could have reverberations throughout the NFL.
