The Washington Huskies may be coming off of a disappointing 8-6 season in Chris Petersen’s first year at UW, but they showed up at the VMAC en force on Friday, with five former Dawgs among the players on the Seahawks’ minicamp roster.
The most notable was wide receiver Kasen Williams, the one-time blue-chip recruit out of Skyline High School who struggled through injuries in his final season on Montlake. The 6-foot-1, 219-pounder originally signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent, but was released after he failed his physical, according to CBS Sports’ Rob Rang.
