Seattle Seahawks strong safety Kam Chancellor was the only player who did not report to the team’s facility on Thursday, one day before the Hawks kick off training camp with a practice on Friday.
On Wednesday, reports surfaced that the 27-year-old Chancellor was considering holding out from training camp as a sign of displeasure with the four-year deal worth just over $28 million he signed in 2013.
With his no-show on Thursday, Chancellor appears ready to incur up to a $30,000 fine for every day of camp missed.
