As was expected, the Seattle Seahawks have placed longtime starting center Justin Britt on injured reserve, ending his 2019 season. Offensive lineman Jordan Roos has been promoted from the practice squad in a corresponding move.
Britt tore his ACL in Seattle’s win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Pete Carroll admitted it will be a “major repair” in his statements yesterday.
Joey Hunt took over in relief for the Seahawks against the Falcons, and will be the starting center for the remainder of the season unless something materializes for John Schneider by the NFL trade deadline, twenty five minutes from writing this sentence.
