Former Husky Jonathan Amosa, a Rainier Beach grad, is just glad to be back playing football after being signed by the Seahawks last week to compete for a spot at fullback.
When Jonathan Amosa put on a helmet and pads Sunday to head out to the Seahawks’ scrimmage, it was the first time he had done so in almost three seasons.
Amosa got reacquainted with the game quickly, getting on the field for a dozen or so plays at fullback in the scrimmage after having been signed as a free agent the day before.
“It was a lot of fun,’’ said Amosa, who played at the University of Washington and Rainier Beach High.
