Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider resolved his own contract situation with the team Sunday night, agreeing to terms on a five-year extension.
Now he’ll have to figure out what to do about the contract of one of the team’s key defensive players.
Speaking to John Clayton during an interview on 710 ESPN Seattle Tuesday, Schneider was asked about defensive end Michael Bennett, who is unhappy with his current deal.
"What I can tell you is that we obviously think he’s a hell of a football player," Schneider said.
"Like I said earlier, there’s 90 guys on this team, and everybody has their own story and situation, whether it’s personal or professional.
