Seahawks general manager John Schneider once again confirmed the team's offseason efforts to trade three-time first-team All-Pro Richard Sherman, but said "odds are" Sherman will return for the 2017 season.
Speaking on 710 ESPN Seattle Thursday evening from the annual Ben's Fun charity event Schneider hosts with wife Traci, the 45-year-old GM downplayed the likelihood of a Sherman trade, which has become the preeminent offseason storyline for Seattle.
"Right now I don't think the odds (of a trade) are very good," Schneider said. "But if somebody comes cruising along and something happens and we do something, it happens.
