Seahawks GM John Schneider mentioned that “odds are“ Richard Sherman will remain with the Seahawks for the 2017 season. Although, Schneider added that they will still consider trade offers for him moving forward, per Bob Condotta.
According to Schneider, some of the reasons to considering trading Sherman are “to create cap room and trying to become a younger team,” per Condotta.
Schneider added there has been “constant communication” between him and Sherman regarding a possibility of trading him and their relationship is “fine” after they spoke on Thursday, per Condotta.
