It’s been a much different start to the season for Jaxon Smith-Njigba compared to his rookie campaign.
Unlike last season, when the Seattle Seahawks receiver missed part of preseason with a wrist injury and had just 12 catches for 62 yards over four games, JSN leads the Seahawks in receptions, with 25 catches for 227 yards. While his first touchdown of the 2024 season hasn’t materialized yet, he’s shown his value on third down.
Using data from Stathead, JSN is tied for 4th among all receivers in third-down conversions (7), and his two failed conversions led to 4th and 1 attempts (one converted, one failed).
