Much of December has been bleak and dreary for fans of the Seattle Seahawks. First, there was the 28-12 drubbing at the hands of the division rival Los Angeles Rams. Then came a rash of injuries, including to Mychal Kendricks, Duane Brown, Jadeveon Clowney, Quandre Diggs, Shaquill Griffin and even Bobby Wagner, all of which contributed to a 27-13 embarrassment at home to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 16.
However, with the NFC West title and a potential first round bye in the playoffs at stake in Week 17, the Seahawks are set to see a handful of injured defensive starters return to the field to take on the San Francisco 49ers.
