The Seattle Seahawks beat the Cincinnati Bengals 21-20 on Sunday, opening the season 1-0 with a mixed result against the Bengals offense. Though Andy Dalton passed for 418 yards and 8.2 yards per attempt with John Ross gaining 158 on his own, the front-seven helped make up for problems in the secondary by holding Cincinnati to field goal attempts on three separate drives.
New Seahawks edge defender Jadeveon Clowney certainly had a lot to do with that, starting with a batted pass on his first series with the team.
New kid on the block.
