The Seattle Seahawks came into the game Sunday committed to getting back to the running game and committed to Eddie Lacy as the lead running back in re-establishing the identity of the team as a physical, ground based team with a potent rushing attack.
That lasted all of 11 plays before Lacy left the game with a groin injury. According to Pete Carroll during an interview on ESPN 710 radio, he was unsure what the severity of the injury was and on Lacy’s status for the game against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday.
