The Seattle Seahawks came into their Week 2 game against the New England Patriots already down Uchenna Nwosu, and they left Foxboro with another one of their top pass rushers getting dinged up.
Boye Mafe, who recorded a sack and seemingly countless pressures on Jacoby Brissett, left Seattle’s eventual 23-20 overtime win with a right knee injury. The team designated him questionable to return and he did not play in the lone defensive series in overtime.
In his post-game press conference, head coach Mike Macdonald offered up an update on what ailed Mafe.
