Interviewing on 710 ESPN’s Brock and Salk show Tuesday morning, Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin explained how he’s taken an active role in mentoring rookie defensive end Frank Clark.
Seattle selected both in the NFL draft with their first pick — Irvin in the first round in 2012 (No. 15 overall) and Clark in the second round this year (No. 63 overall) — despite each having what Irvin described as “baggage.”
Clark had an ugly domestic violence incident that got him dismissed from University of Michigan’s football team, though he later pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct after the initial domestic violence charge was reduced.
