‘I vow to get the help I need’ - Richard Sherman releases statement after arrest

Former Seattle Seahawks star cornerback Richard Sherman has been released from King County Correctional Facility following Wednesday morning’s arrest.

His criminal charges were formally filed on Friday, all misdemeanors: DUI, reckless endangerment of roadway workers, second degree criminal trespass (domestic violence designation), resisting arrest, and third degree malicious mischief (domestic violence designation). The DV designations are because the incident occurred at his in-laws’ residence in Redmond. He pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.

You’ve likely read the reports, heard the chilling 911 call from Sherman’s wife, and seen the released doorbell cam footage of what happened that night/early morning.
