Once upon a not-so-long-ago, the Legion of Boom era Seattle Seahawks dominated the West. Of course, we all remember the “rivalry” between the Jim Harbaugh-led 49ers and the Pete Carroll-led Seahawks. I put the word “rivalry” in quotes because, in hindsight, the 49ers weren’t much competition for the Seahawks. Sure, there were fun vibes between the two teams. Carroll and Harbaugh, and Crabtree and Sherman were hilarious when matched up against each other. But, undoubtedly, in our glory years, the 49ers could not beat us.
