Hingle McCringleberry didn't cost Michael Bennett a sack

In the fourth quarter of the Seahawks' 24-3 win over the Los Angeles Rams, defensive end Michael Bennett came up with his first sack since Oct. 2.

You won't see that in the box score, however. Bennett was flagged for excessive celebration following a third-down takedown of Rams rookie signal-caller Jared Goff after Bennett apparently imitating a sack dance modeled after "Key & Peele" sketch. The penalty wiped out the sack and gave L.A. an automatic first down.

"He knows better than that, doggone it," head coach Pete Carroll said after the game.

If only Bennett, well known for his suggestive celebration dances over the past few seasons, had kept it to two pumps.
