The Seattle Seahawks have healed up since their heartbreaking Super Bowl XLIX loss to the New England Patriots, but healing sometimes results in scars.
Seattle's 28-24 defeat at the hand of head coach Bill Belichick, quarterback Tom Brady and Co. was a classic, featuring iconic plays and huge second-half momentum swings, but it's best known for the Seahawks' final offensive play call of the game. Instead of handing the ball to Marshawn Lynch on second-and-goal from the 1-yard line with 26 seconds left, offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell called a slant pass for Ricardo Lockette. Russell Wilson's pass was intercepted by New England cornerback Malcolm Butler at the goal line in one of the most shocking plays in Super Bowl history.
