A new coaching staff means a new offense for the Seattle Seahawks to grasp, and under someone who’s never coached in the NFL before.
Former Washington Huskies offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb was seemingly in line to join head coach Kaleb DeBoer at Alabama, but the Seahawks came calling and he answered the call. In his first season in any capacity in the NFL, Grubb is in the middle of implementing his offense at OTAs, with mandatory minicamp to follow next week. Monday’s OTAs were accessible to the media, which meant receiving updates on how Grubb’s offense is coming along.
