The good news for Seattle Seahawks right tackle Brandon Shell is that he is finally off the injury report and in theory he can play against the San Francisco 49ers. Unfortunately, he’s not completely out of the woods as there’s a developing COVID-19 situation.
Pete Carroll told reporters on Friday that Shell was considered a close contact to a COVID-19 positive person. While Shell has not yet tested positive, he didn’t practice on Friday and they don’t know whether he’ll have to be placed on the COVID-19/reserve list.
Seahawks RT Brandon Shell was not listed on Seahawks' final injury report, indicating he'll play Sunday, but Pete Carroll told reporters he's been deemed a close contact to someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
