Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith missed last Sunday’s loss against the San Francisco 49ers after injuring his groin in a midweek practice. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Smith’s injury is typically a “two-week” absence, which logically means he’s in doubt for Monday’s must-win against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Head coach Pete Carroll didn’t commit one way or another as far as Geno’s availability for the Eagles game. Seattle’s practice schedule has shifted by a day with the Monday kickoff, so that’s something to keep in mind.
