The Athletic’s Mike Sando released the 2024 edition of his annual Quarterback Tiers report (paywall). If you haven’t checked it out yet, allow me to spoil the big surprise for you; Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, and Josh Allen were the three quarterbacks named in Tier 1.
Tier 1 is defined as such:
A Tier 1 quarterback can carry his team each week. The team wins because of him. He expertly handles pure-passing situations. He has no real holes in his game.
With that said, hard to argue with the Tier 1 selections!
