This comes after his Week 2 performance against the New England Patriots where he put up 327 yards, one 56-yard touchdown to DK Metcalf, and a 103.1 passer rating. This overtime victory over New England was Smith’s ninth game in which he led a game winning drive in the 4th quarter or overtime.
Smith is up against fellow NFC-West quarterback, Kyler Murray for Air Player of the Week. In the Arizona Cardinals victory over the Los Angeles Rams, Murray completed 17 of 21 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns with a 158.
